Pressure Cooker Gasket Replacement for Mirro Models

The pressure cooker gasket is designed to be compatible with a wide range of Mirro pressure cooker models, including the M-0312, M-0312-35, M-0406, M-0416, M-0512, M-0512-11, M-0522, M-0522-11, M-0526, M-0526-11, M-0528, and M-0622. The diameter of the gasket is approximately 12.6 inches, and all dimensions are approximate, as gaskets can stretch or shrink to fit specific lids.

To ensure compatibility, it is recommended to measure your old gasket and pressure cooker pot. The gasket is compatible with Mirro pressure cookers of 12-quart, 16-quart, and 22-quart capacities, and it also fits many discontinued models.

The installation process is straightforward. First, remove the old sealing ring and the overpressure plug. Thoroughly clean the sealing ring groove and overpressure plug hole to ensure a proper fit. Next, wash the brand-new sealing ring with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. Install the sealing ring by working it into the cover a small section at a time until it is fully in place.

To install the overpressure plug, push the round side of the rubber plug (marked "TOP") into the opening from the underside of the cover. When putting the cover on the body, press one hand down on the area opposite the handle. This will help compress the sealing ring and make the cover easy to lock in place. Then, open and close the cover several times to make it operate more freely.

The pressure cooker gasket is made of high-quality food-grade silicone, which is lightweight, has high-temperature resistance, and is strong in toughness. This ensures a high-efficiency seal on your old pressure cooker, locking in cooking pressure and providing plenty of safety.

The smooth silicone body of the gasket makes it easy to maintain. Simply wipe it off with a rag after each use, and it can also be washed in the dishwasher. For a long-lasting gasket, it is recommended to soak it in warm water for 10 minutes before installing it.
