Our pressure cooker gaskets are made from high-quality, durable, food-grade silicone, factory sealed and individually wrapped. They are suitable for select 4, 6, and 8-quart pressure cookers, and can be used to replace part numbers S-9892, S9892, and 9892.

The gaskets fit a variety of Mirro pressure cooker models, including M-0296, M-0436, M-0498, M-0536, M-0596, M-0598, M-0646, M-1952, and M-1956 (including models with -11, -35, etc. such as M-0536-11). The approximate dimensions of the gaskets are (OD) 10.08" x (ID) 10" x 0.4", though these measurements may vary slightly as gaskets can stretch or shrink to fit specific lids.

To ensure compatibility, it is recommended to measure your old gasket and pressure cooker pot before purchasing a replacement. Pressure cooker sealing rings are often manufactured to be up to 1" larger than the original to accommodate for potential shrinkage. Soaking the gasket in warm water for 10 minutes before installation can increase its pliability and make it easier to fit the lid.

Please note that these gaskets are not suitable for the S9882 model, nor are they suitable for all pressure cooker seals. Mirro no longer manufactures these specific gaskets, and these replacements may differ slightly in thickness from the original. While they should fit the listed Mirro models, they may work better for some models than others.
